The Company – After a busy 6 months this company ended 2011 on a high, having some big project wins last year the pace is picking up for this team and they find themselves in need of an experienced Contracts Administrator. 2012 will see a year of growth for this team, having already secured work well into the year there is no chance of things slowing down, this being the first of a number of new positions set to be filled in 2012.
The Role – Reporting direct to the Project Manager and taking ownership of the project and responsibility for client management excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. You will be working on a wide portfolio of projects across the commercial sector so a strong background in this will be preferable. If you have 5+ years commercial experience in Contracts Administration and well developed skills in CHEOPS and document management systems, this could be the next step in your progression to Project Management.
What we need:
- Min 5 years experience as a Contract Administrator within the commercial construction industry
- Bachelor of Construction Management or equivalent is essential
- Strong leadership skills and proven time management abilities
- Have excellent interpersonal skills to deal with internal staff, sub-contractors and suppliers
- Experience using CHEOPS and industry standard document management systems
