Graduate Qualification: Supply Chain or Business Analytics

Technical background

• Hold a formal engineering or procurement (Supply Chain) and/or relevant tertiary qualification
• Have a minimum of 3 years strategic sourcing and procurement experience
• Demonstrate management, financial and understanding of ITC competencies
• Have good knowledge of SAP and interfaces to other systems
• Be an assertive self-starter who is able to plan, administer and organise and pay attention to detail
• Advance computer knowledge
• Creating, updating and maintaining item catalogues
• Executing the coding strategy and approach, by effectively coding required items
• Ensure all required stock items, non-stock items and specials are coded according to the prescribed content, strategy, policies and procedures
• Creating, updating and maintaining vendor master data and vendor master intelligence
• Manage the establishment and maintenance of the business intelligence framework that supports Gold Fields Procurement’s effective decision making, planning, direction and approach
• Manage the establishment, maintenance and enhancement of the item catalogues on various platforms and ensuring the integration and alignment between these platforms, systems and applications
• Manage the establishment and maintenance of item and service master data and ensuring the integration and alignment between item data stored and maintained on various platforms, systems and applications
• Managing the gathering, collation and provision of management information and reporting on overall procurement performance, exceptions, status and alignment with the overall Shared Services reporting, making use of various tools.
• Assist Commodity Teams in the establishment of baselines, benefits identification, benefits tracking and reporting on strategic Commodity Management benefits realisation
