The Company
A leading West Australian manufacturing plant is seeking a Shift Operator (Electrical Discipline) to join their dynamic team in the coastal mid-west region.

Reporting directly to the Plant Supervisor, you will work a continuous shift roster with 2 nights, 2 days and 4 days off. You will maintain forecast production rates through continual monitoring of the process, sampling and lab testing the finished product to achieve specific targets plus maintenance projects when the plant is offline. This will include routine maintenance, inspection and general trouble shooting and modifications to all mechanical and electrical equipment.

Role and Position Criteria

• A current West Australian A- Class Electrical licence (trade qualifications in instrument fitting will be an advantage)
• Skid steer and Forklift licence
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Strong commitment to Health, Safety and Environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Experience with PLC and Citect Control Systems would be advantageous
