Financial Manager

Financial Manager sought for International Mining Company based Sandton surrounds.

Minimum Requirements

• CASA
• 5 years in a mining or similar environment.
• Financial Management experience.

Job Specification

Primary roles of the candidate would be:

• Responsible for the full financial function of the company
• Preparation of annual consolidated financial statements
• Calculation of income and royalty tax, including projections
• Costing calculations and analysis
• Review accounting records and preparation of monthly group management accounts
• Short and long term budgeting (long term cash flow projections)
• Act as the main point of contact to external auditors and provide all required information. 
• Ensure accounting policies comply with the relevant accounting standards.
• Recommend changes that will improve the company's financial performance and
• financial controls.
• Reviewing and giving financial input on contracts
• Establishing and managing the company relationship with financial institutions
• Take ownership of the financial function.
