Technical Support Engineer

My client is looking for a Technical Support Engineer based in the East Rand.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 2 year experience in a technical support function
  • Working knowledge of AutoCad
  • Must be able and willing to undertake customer site and underground visits as required

Job Specification

  • Provide technical product information to the Service Department to support service and rebuild activities.
  • To administrate the warranty claim adjudication process with customers and product company.
  • To provide a quality engineering function to facilitate product improvements and design changes with product company.
  • Configuration and specification control of technical drawings and specifications.
  • Review and approve product changes requested by customers.
  • Assist in formatting or compiling technical training material.
