Our client is seeking an experienced and committed HST Manager to support and develop the health and safety strategy, systems and policies in compliance with the company’s specific requirements. In this role you will be expected to deliver excellent communication and advisory skills, while reporting to the Operations Manager.

You will take responsibility for the following roles:

• Facilitate and develop the strategy in order to improve the on-going safety strategy.
• Ensure all HSTE policies and procedures are in line with company and statutory policy.
• Effectively communicate with all departments from supervisory to stakeholder level.
• Identify and develop leading and best practice health and safety policies and procedures.

The successful candidate with posses a qualification in Health & Safety, or in a related discipline, as well as previous experience in a Health and Safety role within the mining and resource industry. Proven success within in a similar role is beneficial as are strong communication, presentation and computer skills.
