• [Company] , LLC is currently seeking a Corporate Environmental Engineer – Water & Waste to join our compliance team in Wichita, KS. This role will provide water and waste support to multiple U.S. and Canadian Fertilizer plants and terminals and will assist and/or lead compliance systems improvement initiatives.

Under the direction of the Environmental Compliance Director, this role will assist in managing:

• Site-specific water/waste issues
• Coordinate cross-site compliance decisions
• Assist in driving business responses to existing and new regulatory programs
• Provide technical support to air-related projects across the business

Required:

• 5+ years of environmental compliance experience in manufacturing, chemical or refining operations, including:
• Multi-media environmental experience (water, waste)
• Environmental permitting
• Regulatory agency interactions
• Project Management
• Compliance plan development, maintenance and training (SPCC, SWPPP, etc.)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental/engineering or related science discipline from an accredited institution

Preferred:

• Experience in corporate or multi-site environmental compliance support
• RCRA remediation project experience
• Air-related environmental experience
• Experience using software applications and databases
• Master’s degree in a science discipline accredited institution
