Job Description:
- Nationally-recognized, Rocky Mountain Environmental Subsurface Evaluation Firm is actively seeking a Field Engineer/Geologist to join its growing team in Denver, Colorado.
- Qualified applicants will offer a AS/BS Degree or technical training in Geology, Mechanics, Geophysics, or related field and have 1-5 years of field experience and training in fluid mechanics, geophysical, geological, and/or hydrogeological sciences. This position requires computer proficiency, mechanical dexterity, and willingness to travel and work in the field (75-100% of the time).
- Applicants with background and experience in mudlogging, wellsite geology, hydrogeological sciences, and/or equipment mechanics are strongly encouraged to apply.
- This position will travel both locally and internationally and candidates must be willing to commit to a 75-100% travel schedule. This position works a 10 days-on, 4 days-off shift and overtime is to be expected (10-25 hours per week). There is also a physical aspect to this position and candidates must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Pre-employment requirements for this position include: candidates must be able to provide a valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record, be able to pass a drug screen and also a criminal background check (this position will provide project support on military and federal sites).
- This position can interview and start immediately. Out-of-state candidates will be considered for this opportunity, but no relocation assistance is being offered.
