Geologist/Engineering Geologist

LOCATION
Inverness

SUMMARY
Geologist sought to support the developing site investigation workload. This post will be based in Inverness. This vacancy is for a full time person, initially on a short-term contract, but with the possibility of extending it on a permanent basis, subject to terms and conditions.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role will involve:

Geological Desk Studies
Factual Reporting
Logging of Soils and Rock to relevant BS and Eurocode Standards
Trial Pitting
Gas and Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling
Site Supervision of Ground Investigation Sites
Travelling

CANDIDATE PROFILE
If you are the ideal candidate you will have:

A minimum of a Bsc in Geology/Earth Science or other relevant first degree
A minimum of 2 years experience in the ground investigation/environmental industry
IT/data management skills and excellent organisational skills
Excellent communication skills to work with staff and Clients
Driving Licence
