Principal Ecologist

Salary: £30000 - £35000

Our client, a UK recognised environmental and engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Principal Ecologist to head up their Preston based Ecology team.

You will require exemplary experience working in a senior/managerial position within a consultancy environment. This will include a knowledge and understanding of training and managing a large ecology team, running a range of ecological projects and the subsequent practice of writing large technical reports and environmental statements.

Due to an increase in workload, our client is looking for a suitably qualified Principal Ecologist to actively manage their team of Ecologists in the NW, in addition to carrying out a range of ecological surveys (phase 1, vegetation monitoring surveys, etc) and participating in UK based business development.

Salary – Negotiable and DOE (dependent on experience)
