Senior Geo Environmental Engineer

Salary: £30000 - £35000
Region: Midlands


We have an urgent requirement for a senior geotechnical/geo environmental engineer for a leading multidisciplinary consultancy near Birmingham. The successful candidate will assist in the management of a range of small to medium ground investigation projects.

Typical duties may include overseeing and assisting with phase 1 and phase 2 site investigations, technical report writing, client liaison and business development.

Applicants must demonstrate expertise in ground investigation design, preliminary foundation design, slope stability and earthworks assessment. In addition to this, suitable applicants will have sound knowledge of detailed quantitative risk assessments for soil and groundwater contamination and will be familiar with the use of assessment tools such as CLEA and P20.

Desired academic qualifications include; BSc Geology, Geoscience or Geochemistry and ideally with MSc Environmental Engineering, Contaminated Land, Engineering Geology or Geotechnical Engineering.
