Machinist- 2nd Shift
Job Summary
- Machinist is primarily responsible for the operation of CNC machinery. Responsible for the inspection finished goods off of machine to ensure process control. Responsible for following all health and safety codes which involve machinery.
Responsibilities
- Operate and make adjustments to a multi axis CNC Machining Center.
- Maintain efficiency records of equipment
- Perform safety and housekeeping tasks
- Perform all machine set up duties
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks
- Must be able to edit and understand both conversational and conventional programming
- Capable of using Monorail / Jib Cranes for loading and unloading large parts
- Must be able to use precision measurement equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent preferred or at least 2-3 years of machining experience in preferred. Must have experience with precision, tight tolerance machining.
- Ability to read blue prints is required
- Training on CNC machines is beneficial.
