Job Summary
- To proficiently fabricate parts from ferrous and non-ferrous materials, sheet, plate and structural steels. Utilizing the machines required in a safe and effective manner, while abiding by company productivity, quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Familiar with basic measuring tools (i.e. calipers, scale, protractor, micrometer, radius gauges and other dimensional scales).
- Familiar with Blueprints and Mechanical drawings.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic shop tools and machines such as; Grinders, Sanders, Polishers, Drill Press, Band Saw, Electric Hack Saw, Radial Arm Saw, Hydraulic and Manual Press, Tumbler, Parts Washers and Sand Blaster.
- Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-year experience operating tools, machines and devices mentioned above.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
