The Role
A new role exists for a Mining Exploration Consultancy based out of pristine offices in Sydney's CBD for a Health, Safety and Environment officer. This is a vital role for the progression of their company as their current workload builds.
The requirement is for an OH&S systems coordinator for the ongoing management of the companies Health and Safety software system, interpret and develop internal policies which will be adopted by a variety of companies within the heavy industries sector which make up this consultancy.
Key responsibilities:
• Implementation of new OH&S Management System
• Maintain and administer updated legislative requirements
• Pre-auditing inspections
• Regular review and modification to internal auditing process
• Risk Assessment reporting to ensure a working environment free from risk and discrimination
Relevant Qualifications/Experience
• OH&S tertiary qualifications
• Relevant previous experience in developing and maintaining OH&S policies and procedures
• Knowledge of mining legislation and standards
• Strong organisational skills
• Proactive and autonomous mindset
This is an immediate start for the right person. Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience.
