Our company has been asked to source an SAP Workforce Transition Team (Change Managers) to join a dynamic company to assist with an international SAP Improvement Project. The role is based in Perth and the contract will run through to September 2012.

Our client is one of Australia's largest mining and resourcing companies and a large player in global trade.
Providing quality solutions that deliver on promise to its customers is what they do best. It is a key commitment of theirs and ensuring they continue to do so into the future is their continued undertaking.

The key requirements for this role are as follows:
  • To develop a clear understanding of business requirements and impacts through the Current State Assessment.
  • To provide detailed Design Knowledge Transfer and Local Change Impact Assessments activities, including the planning for subsequent change action plans and activities to close gaps, in collaboration with business leaders, champions, Operations Business Leads (OBLs), BPDLS and project leads.
  • To provide a single point of contact for streams/operations for relevant focus areas (ie WM, Supply, Finance, etc.)
  • To build effective working relationships between streams/operations for the focus areas.
  • Commit to and perform all associated knowledge transfer activities to ensure thorough preparation for relevant and meaningful Workforce Transition (WFT) delivery to the business.
  • To deliver workplace coaching and support in relation to WFT and change activities to stream BPDL, Stream Leads, Process Specialists and line managers.
  • Work with the WFT action plan to monitor task completion, review and interpret planned actions and assist with identification and management of related issues.
  • To report on progress against plan, issue identification and management.
  • To build coaching capability in scope sites to support SAP project deployment and ongoing, sustaining organisational change beyond the implementation project.
  • Support the L&PS training team through development of position segmentation.
Ideally you will have:
  • At least 3+ years of Change Management/Change Analyst experience.
  • Worked on a large SAP project life cycle, ideally not limited to just one SAP module and have had experience with other IT platforms as well.
  • Good experience with standard change management practices, including impact assessment, stakeholder analysis, business communications and elements of training.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC6, preferably MM or PM modules and SAP module integration.
  • Excellent communication skills and feel confident liaising with and influencing people from all levels of the Business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a people person, who understands the needs of the business and the fundamental requirement of change communication and strategy.

This position will keep you challenged for at least 9 months and is based in Perth's CBD. Visits to mine sites will be required on an ADHOC basis.
