About Our Client
Our client is key player in the EPCM market with a number of projects globally, with an excellent reputation within the Western Australian Mining & Resources market. This EPCM is currently engaged in a number of significant world class mining and infrastructure projects. Due to sustained growth, they are looking for Site Engineers to oversee their mining projects.
Job Description
- Reporting to the Civil Superintendent, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with the Project Safety Management Plan and Construction Environmental Management Plan
- Reviewing ITP’s that have been submitted by the Contractor
- Keeping a “working set” of drawings up to date for each contract package
- Answering TQ's and raising site instructions
- Co-ordinating responses to Contractor correspondence
- Monitoring schedule and budget.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will posses a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering combined with up to five years experience in project engineering in large scale mining and civil projects, within a contracting environment. Proven leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills are desired. This role requires experienced, autonomous and highly capable engineers with a proven track record.
