Long Term Maintenance Specialist

One of Australia’s leading Mining organisations who pride themselves on operating world-class open cut and underground mining operations across the coal sector, is seeking highly experienced Long Term Maintenance specialists to drive their industry leading business forward across strategic long term planning.

Their open cut and underground operations located throughout the East Coast, are continuously achieving and exceeding managed production targets and this ever growing business is looking to join ranks with suitably qualified mining professionals with the right skills, experience and attitude across asset maintenance and business improvement principles.

To be successful in these positions, you will possess relevant proven experience encompassing asset management and planning preferably from a medium to long term focus, experience influencing and establishing effective relationships with both internal key stakeholders and external suppliers and contractors. Also, Resource management and procurement along with a strong ability to effectively liaise between production and maintenance divisions will be key to your success in this position.

As the successful candidate you will have a mechanical or electrical trade qualification with proven planning and scheduling experience across the mobile and fixed plant divisions within a mining environment. Your software experience will ideally include SAP or other relevant CMMS programs along with other relevant software packages including MS office.
