Coal Processing Engineer

One of Australia's leading mining organisations who operate both in open cut and underground coal operations are looking for experienced Coal Process Engineers to join their busy open-cut operations based in Queensland.

Reporting to the CHPP Technical Superintendent, you will be responsible for: 
• Project definition and evaluation of potential metallurgical improvement projects.
• Management of studies from Concept through Order of Magnitude to Pre-Feasibility level assessment.
• Technical support to the Operations team to assist in the delivery of the annual production plan.
• Identification and management of required internal and external resources to deliver on agreed objectives.
• Participation in the production planning process via the input of technically sound processing assumptions. 

To be successful in this role you will be degree qualified in Metallurgical, Chemical or Mineral Processing Engineering with experience in mineral or chemical processing plants. You will also have been working in a process improvement role throughout your career which will bring added value to this elite organisation.
