Our client, an electrical and related services provider to mining clients throughout WA, is currently seeking a number of experienced
Underground Electricians for an immediate start.
Working autonomously but as part of the construction and maintenance team, you will be required to attend to all relevant electrical breakdowns, servicing, installations, maintenance and repairs across a variety of different areas.
Possessing previous mine site experience, you will work on a diverse range of projects, including HV and LV electrical requirements for various production and processing plant and equipment. Applicants with extensive high level skills in installations and maintenance are encouraged to apply.
To be considered for this role you must possess:
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical works (current WA Electrical Licence preferred).
· Own tools and equipment (preferred)
· At least 6 months previous experience in an underground mine environment
· White Card
· Relevant Licences / certifications
Applicants with the following additional skills will be looked upon favourably:
· Experience in maintenance and commissioning of mine site infrastructure.
· Ability to coordinate other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
· High level written and oral communication skills.
· A mature and reliable approach to work.
An immediate start is possible, along with a family friendly 2 x 1 roster and negotiable hourly rate for the right applicant. The opportunity for ongoing employment can be discussed for candidates who demonstrate the requisite skill and experience.
