This excellent opportunity will allow you to join this east coast project, which is valued in the billions. With a completion date of mid 2014 this EPCM is ready to interview you right now, giving you the chance to join a team leading the way in Australia's mining industry.
 
Other duties will include:

• Assisting the delivery of projects to the approved cost, schedule and other relevant performance criteria.
• Managing, Coordinating and controlling the construction works on the specific package of work.
• Working closely with the Project Manager to ensure the client project timetable is met.
• The completion of all relevant documentation for the execution of construction work.
• Assisting with the control of project costs, budgets and schedules.
• Building strong client relationships.
• Promoting the company's commitment to safety and ensuring the zero harm policies are strictly adhered to.

As the Mechanical Superintendent you will report directly to the Area Superintendent. For this position you must also demonstrate leadership and commitment in relation to the implementation of the HSEC procedures as well as all other aspects of his role, leading always by his own example.
 
If this is of interest to you, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

• A minimum 5+ years EPCM experience.
• A minimum 3+ years experience as a Superintendent working on large scale projects.
• Previous Mining and Resources experience (essential).
• A proven track record working on high value projects in excess of $100 million.
• Experience of managing large construction teams.
• Excellent client management and relationship development skills.
• Previous SMP experience especially with regards to materials handling equipment (stackers, reclaimers, crushers, conveyors and other heavy machinery modules).
