The Opportunity
With over 39,000 employees working across 25 countries, our client, a world class global leader, is committed to health, safety and environment as a core value.  Based in Perth with occasional site visits in the Pilbara region you will provide critical support to their operations working closely with the Project Manager - CRM supporting and influencing the implementation and continuous improvement of the Critical Risk Program at site level.
 
The Role
Reporting to the Project Safety Manager - CRM, your key focus will be to assist in the implementation of the Catastrophic Risk Management plans and risk reduction measures.
 
To be successful you will bring:
  • The ability to effectively communicate at all levels and obtain ‘buy in’ to achieve successful implementation of the CRM system across the operations
  • A comprehensive knowledge of relevant OHS legislation and Standards
  • Exposure to mining environment or similar 
  • A minimum Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety and practical experience in semi quantitative risk assessment methodology
