Demand Planner

Our client requires a Demand Planner with a minimum of 5-8 years planning experience and at least 3-5 Strategic or demand planning experience.

A relevant degree or diploma is a prerequisite for this well sought after opportunity.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Degree or business or logistics qualification with more than five years broad experience in two or more functionally different areas.
• Proven Leadership, influencing and negotiating skills.
• Extensive change management experience
• High on innovative /conceptual / strategic thinking
• An advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP
• A broad knowledge of topics related to demand management, supply planning and sales and operations planning.

Job Specification

Main Purpose Of This Important Role Is:

Developing and aggregating global Demand Plans and Sales Plans to meet sales and service objectives.  Collaboration with other members of the Demand planning team that includes Product management and Sales teams is paramount to achieve these sales and service objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Aggregate unconstrained global demand through collaborative sessions with sales and marketing
• Create and maintain short and long term unconstrained and constrained demand plans monthly
• Coordinate Demand Planning meetings to drive collaborative Demand plans for Supply Planning
• Analyze collated demand plans for the company’s mining services to identify inaccuracies, anomalies and trends.
• Monitor execution and control of demand plans to drive business agendas.
• Supporting product / packaging roll overs, introductions and discontinuations in order best meet business unit objectives on demand plans.
• Manage and maintain SAP Demand Planning modules to support the S&OP Demand Planning process.
