Group Leader - Mining

Description:

  • Recruiting a Group Leader for a mining group looking to open a new office. This position offers exceptional flexibility to either develop out an existing consulting practice, or sculpt a new mining office with the support of a talented group.
  • The Group Leader will build on the current group’s specialties (underground mining methods) into new areas, both in terms of markets and geography. We’re likely looking for a candidate with strengths in open pit design, extractive metallurgy, long wall/room & pillar design, ventilation, or rock mechanics. The perfect candidate would already be consulting to a broad network of clients, but looking to move to a more managerial role.
  • The group has more than doubled their revenue over the last five years and successfully competes with some of the largest mining consultants in the world. Benefits, salary, and 401K for this position are very good.
  • Basically, if you consider yourself management-level, you’ve done some interesting consulting, and you think you’d be interested in joining a consulting group—won’t you send us an email and let us know what you’d like to be doing?

Requirements:

  • BS Engineering
  • Strong, identifiable mining specialties
  • Contract business development experience
  • Management experience
  • Willingness to locate in SLC, Denver, Reno, or other strategic location
