Systems Analyst

Position Summary

• Design, develop, customize, implement, maintain and troubleshoot overall SAP and Oracle Security Solutions.
• Develop custom reporting applications based on company needs. Responsible for SAP security requirements gathering, design and configuration of SAP R/3 in Windows and UNIX environment.
• Design custom solutions using Oracle database. Upgrade SAP R/3 4.6c to ECC 6.0 and BW 3.5 to 7.0 and GRC 4.0 to 5.3 (RAR, RE, SUP).
• Build SAP security roles to implement SAP security design. Provide technical support relating to SAP security software, including ECC, BW/BI, Business Objects, CRM, SRM, GTS, SEM, SNC Enterprise Portals, Solution Manager, GRC and WebAS.
• Operate procedures to audit the security structure and the assignment of security attributes to users. Manage relationship between technical and functional and business teams relating to SAP Security, segregation of duties, and roles.
• Manage relationship with audit and internal controls teams on control design for SAP security, as well of execution and testing of the controls. Maintain SAP security related policies and procedures in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley initiatives. Ensure SOX compliance for all aspects of Security General Computing Controls (GCC).
• Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the SAP R/3, Java, Oracle, Windows and Unix security environment and for developing / promoting SAP security standards in ABAP code to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure.

Minimum Qualifications

• Required is a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a Systems Analyst, Software Engineer, or Project Manager.
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, and three (3) years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Software Engineer, or Project Manager. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience or a Master's degree and three years of experience. 
• As part of the experience being required, the applicant must have had: experience in analyzing, designing, developing, configuring custom software applications; experience with SAP R/3, Oracle Applications, ABAP, Java, C and C++ in both Windows and UNIX environments; experience in setting up SAP security; experience in preparing functional and technical specifications; experience with go-live and roll-out SAP functionality and troubleshooting assistance; experience in configuring SM19 executing SAP SOX monthly reports in SM20 to meet the audit guidelines; upgrade experience in SAP for 4.6c to ECC6.0 and BW3.5 to BI7.0; experience in implementing and managing SAP GRC 5.1 and 5.2 Access Control Tools (Virsa Compliance Calibrator, Virsa Access Enforcer, Virsa Role Expert, and Virsa Firefighter) and process controls 3.0; experience in installing SAP GUI updates and version management; experience in dual track configuration in SAP R/3, BW and component systems; experience in working with Business Application Analysts for creating Segregation of Duties (SOD) matrix and mitigating controls designed to support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance; experience in designing and developing Quick Test Professional scripts for creating and updating users and roles in SAP; experience in creating new SAP Portal roles and assigned iviews and worksets to portal roles in content administration; experience in implementing BW hierarchy authorizations; and experience in creating transactions and variants in SAP.
