Responsibilities:
- In this position you will be involved with soil investigations and groundwater remediation projects, environmental site assessments [Phase I/II studies], risk assessments, hydrogeologic studies, remediation system design, industrial hygiene services (including asbestos, lead-based paint, indoor air quality assessments, and health & safety), underground storage tank assessments, and remediation assessments. The emphasis of the position is on Phase II site assessments and UST's. You will be involved with field work as well as prepare various reports and proposals. You will interface with clients on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be a high energy person with proven ability and an interest in marketing and business development.
- Candidates with NC DENR experience and knowledge of NC environmental regulations especially related to underground storage tanks are preferred.
Qualifications:
- 7-15 years of Environmental Engineering, Geology, or similar experience.
- BS in a discipline related to environmental science required; MS desired.
- NC PE or PG license preferred.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proven marketing ability.
