Engineer/Scientist

Overview:

  • We are seeking a motivated entry-level Environmental or Civil Engineer to provide support in the following areas: site investigation; environmental data interpretation; evaluation of remedial technologies, conducting remediation feasibility studies, remedial systems design, installation, and operation & maintenance. 

Responsibilities:

  • Field data collection, data interpretation and reporting; surface water drainage design; permitting for remediation; and support for remedial systems design including preparation of design plans, specifications and reports, construction monitoring, and systems operation & maintenance. This entry-level Engineer will serve on multidisciplinary teams of engineers, geologists and scientists on projects involving investigation and remediation of impacts to soil, groundwater and soil vapor/indoor air by oil and hazardous materials.
  • Opportunities exist for construction management and for participation on projects involving other services provided by the company including geotechnical engineering, regulatory compliance and geothermal energy systems.
  • Hands on construction experience is desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, or related) MS preferred, with 0 to 3 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations a plus. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required and Microsoft Project preferred. Proficiency or working knowledge of CAD and/or GIS a plus. Fundamentals of Engineering certification and OSHA 40-hr. HAZWOPER training preferred but not required.
