A market leading mining company is after an experienced Superintendent for their significant open cut coal operation in the Bowen Basin.  This offers the management of an established team of multidisciplined technical professionals and an environment of further development.

Ongoing growth provides the potential for this management professional to further develop within the wider team.   Key to the role is leadership and the performance of the team, operational compliance and the safety of operations are integral.  This role reports directly to the Manager - Mine Planning.

What are we looking for?
  • Degree qualified in geology and/or Survey, with extensive experience within open cut coal mining
  • Demonstrated experience working with MS Office
  • A demonstrated ability to deliver results in a dynamic work environment
  • A defined leadership style with mentoring and coaching skills with a focus on developing your team
