We are currently seeking suitably experienced Service Crew members for fly in fly out positions from Cairns or Townsville. The roster for these positions is 7 shifts on, 7 shifts off, on a continuous roster.

The key responsibility of service crew members is to ensure that underground mining services are carried out to meet required safety standards, support underground operators, maintenance of equipment and assist in achieving production targets. 

 Duties include:
  • Ventilation services, which includes hanging ventilation bags and moving/installing secondary fans.
  • Water and air services to areas where needed.
  • Move and install pumps to areas where needed.
  • Maintain and repair equipment such as vent bags, poly pipe and valves.
  • Assist with all operations including offsiding operators as required.
Salary/Rate:  $37 - $45
