Materials Controller

Purpose of the Job - Plan, direct, and coordinate the storage and distribution operations within the respective Plant and ensure that sufficient stock is available to the Plant at all times.

Direct Manager:
  • Plant Manager
Manager to:
  • Stores Controller, Stock Controller, Invoice Clerk, Data Capture Clerk, Driver & Storeman
Department:
  • Stores
Occupational Level:
  • Skilled technical and academically qualified workers, junior management, supervisors, foremen and superintendents.

Preferred education:

  • A Matric qualification is required. 
  • A Diploma in Stock and/or Stores Controlling and a Financial diploma / degree.

Relevant working experience:

  • Five years experience is required in a stores environment within the mining industry of which three years experience must be within a supervisory or managerial capacity.
