Are you our next Senior Auditor - IT?

We are currently seeking a Senior Auditor - IT for our Plymouth, MN or FishHawk, FL location. The Senior Auditor – IT will be responsible for conducting technology focused assurance and consulting engagements in compliance with standards, policies, and procedures based on a service plan established from an enterprise-wide risk assessment and in alignment with Company strategy. This role will focus primarily on information technology projects, including system reviews, system implementations, security, IT governance, etc.

What will you do?

• Conduct complex information technology assurance and consulting engagements.  Responsibilities will include gathering relevant data, compiling and analyzing information, reviewing records for accuracy and conformance to standards, and developing observations and conclusions. Recommend improvements for the identification, evaluation, and management of risks throughout the Company (both domestic and international) and communicate with all levels of management. 
• Partner with business and functional leaders to advise on risk identification, evaluation, and management, and process or system development and improvement initiatives.
• Serve as an IT subject matter expert on identified projects and provide system support.  Recommend, develop, train and support Internal Audit employees on technology enabled procedures (continuous monitoring or data analytics).  Develop data analytics and continuous monitoring tool sets.
• Develop and apply knowledge and understanding of all business functions to assigned projects and enterprise risk assessment.
• Conduct other projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required. Major in Accounting, Finance or Information Technology, preferred.
• CISA, CISSP, CIA, or CPA  is preferred.
• 5+ years of technology and/or IT audit experience.
• Solid familiarity with management control systems, organizational structures, IT control frameworks (e.g. COBIT), and emerging information technology issues.
• Project management experience (project governance) experience is preferred.
• Ability to evaluate a variety of platforms, operating systems, computer services, utility programs and communication protocols.
• Understands automated applications and end user controls.
• Understands risks, vulnerabilities and security requirements necessary for routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless and other network infrastructure.
• Candidate must be proficient in a Microsoft Windows environment (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
• Working experience with analysis tools (i.e. ACL, Access).
