Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for design and management of projects with mining industry, local municipalities and private developers. Work with Elko and Reno civil engineering staff to complete designs for mass grading, pipelines, pumping facilities, access roads, haul roads, storm water improvements, leach pads, tailings impoundments, and solution containment ponds. Prepare specifications, calculations, contract documents, cost estimates, technical memos, design reports and feasibility studies.
Job Requirements:
- BS or MS Civil Engineering with 5 to 10 years’ experience in mining, municipal water and sewer projects, and land development.
- Ability to lead and perform design work including AutoCAD Civil 3D earthworks, pipeline hydraulics and stormwater hydrology.
