Senior Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:
- The Portland, Oregon office is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to work as part of a team on civil engineering and environmental projects. The successful candidate will be able to assist with the evaluation and design of a diverse range of projects as well as provide field support for civil/infrastructure projects. Some travel will be required.
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 20 years of civil/infrastructure experience.
- Direct project experience with linear projects, including EFSEC permitting
- B.S in Civil Engineering required, M.S. in Civil Engineering preferred,
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, a positive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Project manager for multiple large scale projects
- Experience with Excel, Access, ARC-GIS, LIDAR, and Civil 3-D.
- PE registration in Oregon, Washington and Idaho or ability to get registration within one year.
- Ability to travel both locally and internationally.
Desirable skills would include:
- Experience with compiling complex civil design reports including design drawings and specifications.
- Experience managing high dollar value linear projects
- Understanding of EIS, GIS and NEPA processes
- Expert understanding of indicative access road design in remote or isolated areas
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with defined deadlines.
