Design

• Conceptualize, design and produce drawings with supporting calculus and material data ensuring designs meet required specifications and manufacturing capabilities
• Check details, assemblies and BOMs for assigned projects
• Ensure designs conform with engineering standards and performance specs
• Document performance requirements for product development and engineering projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and computer-generated reports related to mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Recommend design modifications and eliminate system or machine malfunctions
• Apply the fundamental principles of engineering together with advanced analytical techniques through the design process
• Document all aspects of assigned projects

Qualifications

• Educated in Engineering or Hydraulic Design
• Proven experience using Inventor (or other 3D applications)
• 2 years design experience in a heavy equipment manufacturing environment
• Proven mechanical aptitude
