Salary: $36.00 to $40.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Group Insurance Benefits, Pension Plan Benefits

Skill Requirements:

Education: Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Trade Certification, 4th Period Apprentice, Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Red Seal Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A)

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Major Work Area: Repair, Overhaul, Maintenance, Service, Recondition

Type of Equipment Repair: Diesel or diesel-electric mining machinery and equipment

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Vehicle supplied by employer, Willing to travel

Other Information: Genset experience an asset. Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuitry, ability to troubleshoot, well organized, in shop and field work, experience with John Deere and Kubota engines an asset.
