Sales Representative – Pneumatics & Hydraulics

The sale representative reports to the Western Canada Business manager.  His(her) role is to act as a consultant in order to understand, advise and recommend the best solution to meet our customers’ needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote products and attain objectives for the sale of our clients products and systems in the assigned territory and/or with the assigned customers or OEM’s.
  • Keep management informed of territory status and market conditions & trends through regular reports and interactions.
  • Develop the assigned sales territory by establishing relationships with new customers (including cold calling and telemarketing activities).
  • Consult with management on competitive pricing, strategies and product information.
  • Submit proper call and expense reports using CRM and MS Office tools.
  • Draft and present sales quotations to customers.
  • Lead activities for all aspects of trade show participation in the assigned territory such as planning, set-up, attendance and taking down of booth.
  • Gather and provide trade show information for the Post Show Summary.
  • Fulfill all other projects and duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent related experience
  • Knowledge of compressed air systems, pneumatics and hydraulics an asset
  • 5 - 10 years sales experience
  • Customer Service experience
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office Suite.
