Our unique ability to quickly customize designs and build to exact customer requirements has made us the supplier of choice for many discriminating customers. We produce specialized solutions for oil & gas, refining, petro-chemical, power generation, renewable energy, and mining industries.

ENGINEERING DESIGNER / DRAFTER

BlueSky Process Solutions Ltd., based in Stoney Creek Ontario, designs and manufactures innovative products for the severe service piping applications industry. We are looking for an Engineering Designer / Drafter to support our Engineering group by providing detailed drawings to enhance existing product designs and to enable timely development of new product lines and innovations. Due to our rapid growth in conventional and renewable energy sectors, this position is a stepping stone for further opportunities within our Engineering group as we continue to develop more new products and solutions.

Responsibilities:

Create/modify/update machine fabrication drawings using Pro/ENGINEER
Manage and organize engineering files and drawings per company's procedure
Provide support and assistance to the production/manufacturing department
Provide technical support to customers
Support internal continuous improvement initiatives, corrective actions, etc.
Maintain documentation in line with existing ISO practices.

Qualifications:

B Sc Mechanical Engineering or 3 year Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma
1-3 years of experience in an Engineering environment
3D CAD design experience (preferably Pro/ENGINEER)
Proficient in creating models, engineering drawings and layouts with minimal instruction
High degree of attention to detail
Familiar with Microsoft Office
Dynamic, motivated self-starter that can work independently and as part of a team
Experience in piping & pressure vessels codes and familiarity with ASTM/ASME materials is an asset

Work Hours: 40 hours per week, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1 hour lunch or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a ½ hour lunch.
