Our client is a mineral explorer who have acquired and are developing a number of mine sites in NSW and QLD. As they ramp up towards mineral extraction a need for a qualifed engineer/ scientist has arisen to oversee this process.
Our client is seeking a Managing Director who will be responsible to build and start up the company’s mining and processing operations in a bid to achieve set performance and profitability levels on time and within budget .

The successful candidate will be engaged to manage the following responsibilities but will not be limited to them:

• To manage the EPCM operations of the mine site in NSW
• Manage the exploration and mining activities of sites in NSW and QLD
• Oversee the initial start up to full scale mining in 12 months time
• To complete a feasibility and expert studies for capital raising
• To prepare for ASX listing

To be considered for this role the successful candidate will be required to fulfil the following criteria:

• 10 years or more in a Senior or Executive Management position in a mining or engineering company
• A proven track record of managing the D & C of a mine site to optimal processing level
• A third level qualification in a Mining Discipline be it Engineering or Scientific
• The benefits for the successful candidate will include:
• $200k salary dep on experience
• Annual Performance related bonus on up to 50% of Total Salary
