This is your chance to secure a Senior Mine Geologist role within a small, down to earth team of industry professionals, where your input into geological processes and creative thinking will be encouraged, not hindered.
Strong leadership skills are important, as you will be working back to back with the Geology superintendent and responsible for the team and operations while on site. Being the only Senior, you will have excellent scope and role diversity, as well as operational and leadership experience to add to your belt.
With a number of base and precious metal operations and projects within Australia and overseas, this is an excellent opportunity to jump on board with a growing ASX listed small to mid-tier producer and explorer. You will be joining the team at one of their complex base metal operations currently progressing major UG mine expansions and a ramp up of production across multiple satellite ore bodies.
Operating on a very attractive 8/6 roster and chartered flight service from Brisbane, this position offers a great work/life balance without sacrificing lifestyle. You will also be residing in 1st class accommodation while on site and have access to superb modern facilities.
Strong performance will be rewarded with an outstanding remuneration package, including a salary in the vicinity of $140k - $160k + super + employee share plan and 5 weeks annual leave.
In order to be considered for this role you should have a strong background in UG mining and geological mapping, sampling, interpretation and managing grade control for base metal operations, as well as previous experience in resource modelling and estimation will be highly regarded. Strong leadership and supervisory skills are a must and previous experience mentoring and training of geologists will also be preferential.
