Due to continued growth within the division, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Document Controller to join in our success.
The role will be initially based in our Brisbane office located in Milton and will be moving to our Gladstone Project Office.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the control of all documents (drawings, specifications, procedures, polices) for allocated works for a key construction project.
The key responsibilities include:
- Maintain up to date records of all project related documents
- Receipt and record details of all incoming drawings and documents
- File drawings and documents
- Maintain the electronic project filing system
- Photocopy drawings and distribute to project staff
- Produce weekly document control reports for Project Management
- Provide other tasks to support the Project Team as and when required
To be considered for this role, you will have previous experience in providing administrative and secretarial support, preferably in an engineering or construction environment.
Ideally you will have previous exposure to document control processes. Full training will be provided in this development role, however, it is essential that you have high attention to detail and strong working knowledge of Microsoft software packages, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Your ability to prioritise and work under pressure will assist you in coordinating your duties effectively and efficiently.
