About the Division: Our Maintenance & Industrial Services Division provides comprehensive, single-source support services to operating facilities including fixed and mobile plant maintenance, shutdown planning, management and execution, capital projects, specialist piping and structural repairs, labour and equipment hire.

About the Role: We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to join the team, where you can develop your career whilst enjoying the many benefits of joining a leading national engineering company. The successful candidate will play an integral role estimating and planning for sustaining capital projects and maintenance works. You will be involved in the compilation of tenders and proposals, including lump sum and long term maintenance contracts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Estimation of man-hours and materials including calculation of costings
• Assist with planning and scheduling
• Estimate projects up to approximately $5 million
• Undertake job handover to the project team and ensure that all information required to complete the work efficiently to customer requirements is provided
• Developing and sustaining effective relationships with clients

To be considered for this role, you will be the holder of an Electrical Workers Licence. You will possess estimating experience for multi-disciplinary projects from an electrical trade or engineering background and you will have the ability to demonstrate initiative, coupled with effective communication skills to establish positive working relationships.
