Electrical Superintendent

The Maintenance & Industrial Services Division provides ongoing maintenance support services, including the provision of shutdowns and sustaining capital works to a broad spectrum of blue chip customers throughout Australia and PNG.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will play an integral role in planning the successful execution of all delegated works within the E & I function of the business.

Working across the Bowen Basin your key responsibilities include:
  • Plan & schedule work and labour requirements to meet contract time commitments and maximise resources
  • Monitor progress against work schedule to identify any issues on the projects
  • Liaison with suppliers to organise plant and equipment
  • Fostering and managing customer relationships
  • Ensuring project quality is aligned with statutory and client requirements
  • Preparation and management of projects budgets and cost control issues
  • Managing all HSE standards and targets to ensure project safety
  • Working with QA in the implementation of electrical systems and procedures
  • Preparation and submission of estimates.
To be considered for this role, you will be trade qualified and hold a current Queensland Electrical Workers Licence with extensive industry experience. With strong attention to detail along with well-developed interpersonal skills you will be flexible with a team orientated approach to work.
