Estimator

Monadelphous is experiencing rapid growth and is a key player within its sector. As a result of our success, we have excellent opportunities for a highly motivated Estimator to join our Maintenance & Industrial Services Division based in Brisbane.

As an Estimator, you will play an integral role estimating and planning for sustaining capital projects and maintenance works. You will be involved in the compilation of tenders and proposals, including lump sum and long term maintenance contracts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Estimation of man-hours and materials including calculation of costings
• Assist with planning and scheduling
• Estimate projects worth $1M - $10M
• Undertake job handover to the project team and ensure that all information required to complete the work efficiently to customer requirements is provided
• Developing and sustaining effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

To be considered for this role, you will be the holder of either a boilermaker trade, draftsman or mechanical engineering background. You will possess estimating experience for multi-disciplinary projects from a mechanical, structure or piping disciplines. You will have the ability to demonstrate initiative, coupled with effective communication skills to establish positive working relationships.
