Senior Geologist

A unique opportunity exists for a SENIOR GEOLOGIST with a client dedicated to developing a leading edge gold mining province in the Pilbara by linking research with modern technology and new ways of thinking to achieve this goal.

The potential Senior Geologist joining this small team on a 2/1 roster FIFO from Perth or North-West WA, will have a minimum of 10 years geology experience, with exposure to both exploration and mining procedures.

As the successful candidate you will be the only geologist on site, encouraging the company's ethos of a hands-on, practical and single-minded approach.  Your duties will include but is not limited to; Management of tenements in WA and QLD, Joint Venture Management, Tribune Agreements, Reporting, Supervision of incoming juniors and Budgeting.  Previous exposure to Surpac, Minemap or ArcView would be beneficial.  This is a Research and Development site, therefore a keen interest in both these areas is extremely important.
