Candidate
You are a qualified Electrical Engineer with more than 10 solid years Senior electrical design experience and have an understanding and exposure to HV Substation projects who wants to work for an organisation that offers long term stability and future growth. You want to take on a position of responsibility working on high voltage Electrical Substation Projects from 132kV to 220kV.  

Position Description
Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager your HV Electrical Transmission experience and knowledge will be held in high regard. As the Lead Design Engineer you will be responsible for the Detailed Electrical Design of Transmission Substations.  This will involve leading in the design phase of the projects, formalising Design Reviews, timely delivery of the Electrical Designs. You will ensure that all resources are used appropriately and all aspects or your role are carried out to the highest level to ensure that delivery is on time and on budget.

Qualification/Requirement
You will have Australian recognised formal Electrical qualifications along with a hands on approach with experience in a similar role. You will also need to be competent with everything involved in the Life of a Project - procurement, purchasing, document control, MS Project, design and onsite trouble shooting relating to HV electrical transmission substations.  You will be offered a good hourly rate based on the level of experience you can introduce.
