Detail Draftsman

This is your next career move that you have been waiting for! Work for a global manufacturer specialising in underground machinery for the coal mining industry. 

Due to continual growth there is a current need for a detail draftsman on a one year contract basis with the opportunity for extension. You will be working within a team of experienced engineers and assisting with current projects. Your daily duties will involve using the design systems AutoCAD and inventor to create designs based on the customers requirements. It will be preferred if you have a knowledge of fabrications and the design of machine parts. In addition you will be involved in the review process of the machines once they have been implemented.

This role requires a draftsman with solid design experience, excellent communication skills, ability to analyse the project requirements and work as a team to achieve these goals. 

To be considered for this role you must have the following: 
•Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering 
•Trade background 
•Systems experience including AutoCAD, Inventor, MS Project 
•Knowledge of fabrications and heavy machinery 
•Understanding of safety policies and procedures 
•Thorough understanding of machine application
