About our Client
Our client is a relatively small mining service organization, who possess some significant and well established relationships with major international miners. With a focused strategic growth plan over the next 12 to 18 months, they are currently adding highly experienced staff to their commercial and corporate teams. Included in these requirements is a Contracts Manager.

Job Description
Reporting to the COO, this diverse role which will be fly in fly out will see you responsible for the following;

• Ongoing maintenance of a number of existing high value materials and services contracts
• Operational review of all mining and non mining activities
• Assist in the review and analysis of a number of potential upcoming mining projects
• Assist in an ongoing feasibility study to take a mine into it's operational phase 
• Day to day business reporting and analysis into head office
• Identify and implement business process improvement opportunities

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have extensive Contracts Management experience in an operational Mining environment. You will demonstrate the ability to identify cost saving opportunities through spend analysis, risk management, contract negotiation and business process improvement. Furthermore, you will have experience making critical business recommendations and reporting into senior management and shareholders.
