Service Technician - Brisbane

Atlas Copco Mining and Rock Excavation Australia requires an experienced and self-motivated Service Technician for our Brisbane branch.

Duties include:          

repair and maintenance work on heavy duty fixed and mobile plant equipment including Atlas Copco drills, trucks and loaders, repair and fault finding on hydraulics and electric and pneumatic systems, completion of service reports, strict adherence to Atlas Copco’s as well as customer OH&S policies and safe work practices.

The successful applicants will possess:

heavy duty plant mechanic trade qualifications or similar, extensive experience in the maintenance of surface mining equipment, hydraulic repairs, diagnostics and low voltage electrical repairs, surface crawler and large blast hole drill experience required, preventative and breakdown maintenance experience, ability to work within a team environment, ability to travel and work on mine sites, good organisational and communication skills, and a valid driver’s licence.

Experience in a similar role in the mining industry will be well regarded.

Overseas travel to PNG and Solomon Islands is required.
