Senior Manager : Mining

• The incumbent will be responsible for developing short, medium and long term mining and equipment replacement plans. 
• Developing operational and maintenance policies and procedures. 
• Continuously monitor and maintain effectiveness in terms of production requirements as well as continuous research for improving mining and maintenance methods.

Requirements

• The position calls for someone with advanced acumen in controlling mining and maintenance operations according to sound mining practices in open cast mining environment
• The end view being to meet customer requirements and Product quality that meet plant resources and capacity within production capability. 
• Envisages is an industry trendsetter in possession of Recognised Degree in Mining Engineering and Business Management that are supported by a Mine Manage's Certificate of Competency.
• The incumbent will maximise the output of both personnel and equipment through the effective development and monitoring of operational policies and procedures.
• Solid leadership skills will been gained during at least 10 year's relevant experience in a senior management level at a major open cast mining environment
