International Logistics Manager

Our client who is in the Mining Industry is looking for an International Logistics Manager to join their team

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Exports, Logistics or Supply Chain

Experience

• At least 10 years’ Export experience supplemented by at least 5 years team management experience

Duties

• Preparation and management of business plans for the International Logistics function
• Manage the team of coordinators who are responsible for expediting import and export orders
• Procurement of multi modal transport services and ancillary services including clearing
• Managing creditor payments in conjunction with the finance departments
• Ensuring that the department performs in accordance with the key service level indicators
• Regularly reviews the International Logistics Network and submits presentations of assessment with regard to aspects of risk, efficiencies and cost effectiveness
• Reviews processes and systems and facilitates changes when required.
• Forms part of the contributing team when investigating new international business opportunities
