Operations Manager: Gas Circuit

A South African company involved in mining, energy, chemicals, and synfuels is looking for an Operations Manager: Gas Circuit (Johannesburg).

Minimum Requirements

• BSc / BEng or equivalent

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• BSc / BEng or equivalent
• 15 Years relevant Petrochemical Plant experience

Knowledge/Skills/Requirements:

• Business Qualification (preferable)
• Minimum of 6 years operational experience in a Management position

Responsibilities:

• Develop a long-term strategy for the Gas Circuit Department
• Contribute to the sustained stability, safety and operational performance by managing and optimizing Gas Circuit business performance
• Manage interfaces with Operations and Functional departments
• Manage specific project related to Gas Circuit
• Develop and grow the leaders in the Gas Circuit team by providing insight and leadership with regard to the disciplines under his/her supervision
